About me!

Hi everyone thank you for visiting my page, I have been a professional photographer, working in the industry for over 20 years. Having had a lifelong interest in photography long before this. Remembering when my father bought me my first Nikon SLR. I would go gallivanting on the cliffs where I live experimenting with it and developing the film in my dark room. (Now I’m a Canon user!)

I’m also a keen woodworker. I have my own workshop where I create bespoke Driftwood Art Décor. I salvage the driftwood from behind my home and treat it before I use it. So I have such a happy balance between both.

I am a keen open water swimmer. I try to swim every day. And a crossfitter for over ten years. I've completed several triathlons and marathons.

I work with a professional but relaxed approach, I love working with people and ensure that all work is completed to standards that exceed customer expectation. I specialised in weddings for most of the 20 years and then added portraiture. I built a Studio to the side of my home where I exhibit my seascape collection along with my driftwood art. I am a qualified graphic designer who worked in the design industry for 8 years before I went professional and I believe that the combination of design and photography is what gives me an edge over other photographers. I work mainly these days in my studio doing portraits, school photography and I'm a regular at our local rugby club capturing the kids. My studio portraiture is focused on the child, family without the need for distracting backdrops. I much rather the personality of the child standing out

When it comes to portraits and working with children, nothing could come more natural as I am the mother of three boys. You have to connect with people when photographing them. When it comes to children, they don’t have the same tolerance as adults so you really only get one shot! That’s why it’s so important to develop a sense of trust and a bond with them. This I find easy, and of course being a mum helps considerably. You have to work with children and let them run the show. Once they are having fun it will reflect in their portrait.

Opening Hours:
All sessions are strictly by appointment.
I always aim to accommodate your lifestyle, offering portrait sessions on Weekends.

I would like to dedicate everything I do, everything I create, every single day, to my amazing mum Harriet who left this world far too soon. But not without one amazing fight. I owe her everything, and I'm so lucky to have inherited her amazing artistic skills. She was so proud of everything I achieved xx
